CCRA Ministry Volunteer & Leadership Opportunity Notice (Under 18 Participants)

Please read carefully before completing this registration.

Children and youth under the age of 18 may serve within the CCRA ministry in approved volunteer, and ministry support capacities with prior parental or legal guardian consent.

CCRA is committed to creating opportunities for youth to grow in leadership, faith, teamwork, service, and community engagement through Christ-centered recreational programming.

Youth ages 14–17 may participate in approved volunteer and ministry roles with authorization from CCRA and completed parent or legal guardian consent forms.

Volunteer and ministry opportunities may include, but are not limited to:

Team assistance and game-day support
Scorekeeping and field setup
Youth leadership and mentorship opportunities
Photography and media assistance
Event support and hospitality
Worship, prayer, and ministry support activities
Community outreach initiatives
Social Media Club participation for high school students

The CCRA Social Media Club provides high school students with volunteer hours and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in:

Sports media and content creation
Photography and videography
Social media marketing
Graphic design and promotional support
Faith-based community engagement
Leadership development and volunteer service hours

All youth volunteers and ministry participants under the age of 18 must:

Have a parent or legal guardian review all registration and waiver documents
Complete the Parent/Guardian Acknowledgement section located at the bottom of this registration form
Submit all required parental consent forms prior to participation
Comply with all CCRA youth safety, conduct, and ministry participation policies
Conduct themselves in a respectful, safe, and Christ-centered manner during all league and ministry activities

Participation by minors in volunteer or ministry capacities does not provide eligibility for adult gameplay participation.

Any volunteer participation in adult recreational gameplay by individuals under the age of 18 requires separate approval by CCRA and completion of all required waivers and parental authorizations.

CCRA reserves the right to approve, refuse, suspend, or cancel any youth volunteer or ministry participation at its sole discretion and may request proof of age where required.

FREE Kids Softball Clinic and Games:

We are holding a FREE Baseball Skills Clinic for kids ages 7-14 on Thursday nights at the Brampton County Court Park location from 6 pm to 8 pm June 2 – August 11, 2026. Please select on eof the following:

If you are interested in volunteering for the Canadian Christian Recreational Association in an Executive Governance capacity, please select an area of interest. We also ask you to SHARE these opportunities with others you may know.

Please note that Executive-level volunteering opportunities will be remote in nature with virtual Zoom meetings once per week for 30 minutes, and carry required time commitment of 2 hours per week. Executive roles require experience in managing a team.

All volunteers will be required to have the Plan to Protect training which we will provide FREE of charge.
